fire at factory

it is such a sad blog to write that i will just say thanks to everyone who has sent messages of support and thanks to all our employees who prove again and again that they are more like a family. if you are a customer, supplier or friend, i am sorry that we haven't been in touch individually yet but i imagine may people read or heard about the fire that burnt through our factory early on saturday morning. i will update the blog when i know more but for now, thanks to the fire crew and thank goodness noone was hurt.

I meant 'their best wishes' - as an English teacher pre chocolatier, I can't resist correcting grammar mistakes...especially my own. I like to tink of it as artisan perfectionism rather than just sad!

That's rotten, poor you. I hope you manage to find somewhere else to keep the Christmas production going from.

Oh no..the skelligs chocolate factory was looking great this summer when we visited - as busy and as friendly as ever. glad to hear that nobody was hurt but really hope that the factory will be back. It is a big part of our lives and our children's lives. I can bargain with the kids all year if I tell them theres a visit to the chocolate factory involved.
Wishing you all the best for a full recovery

Thanks! We hope to be up and running by the Summer and with an even better experience for visitors. Might even be more bargaining power with the kids. It alll takes a bit of imigination at the moment though amongst the charred remains...
